(Since I have found no personal history I am taking information from www.ancestry.com and www.bartonancestry.com to write this history)
Daniel King Barton was born on 11 March 1854 in Parowan, Iron County, Utah to William John Barton and Sarah Esther West Barton. He was the 3rd of 13 children.
Daniel married Helen "Ellen Ann Horton on September 1st, 1878 in Adamsville, Beaver County, Utah.
The following children were born to Daniel and Ellen:
1. William Scott Barton, b. 28 Jul 1879, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah , d. 16 Jul 1945, Richfield, Sevier County, Utah
2. Daniel West Barton, b. 19 May 1881, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah , d. 23 Nov 1952, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah
3. Hannah Daphne Barton, b. 16 Jul 1883, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah , d. 8 May 1973, St George, Washington County, Utah
4. Jesse "Jess" Horton Barton, b. 11 Oct 1885, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah , d. 20 Jun 1932, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah
5. Roy Penn Barton, b. 5 Dec 1887, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah , d. 1 Jan 1951, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah
6. Margaret E Barton, b. Dec 1889, Utah , d. 24 Jan 1969, Milford, Beaver County, Utah
7. Sarah Esther Barton, b. 11 Apr 1892, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah , d. 14 Jan 1933, Greenville, Beaver County, Utah

It was reported that at some point the Barton family lived in the David Miller home which was later owned by the youngest Barton, Nell and her husband Blaine Blackett.
Ellen died on January 12th, 1934 and Daniel died on June 20th, 1934 in Greenville and they are buried together in the Greenville Cemetary.
